Aksh Optifibre Ltd, in association with MTNL, has launched its latest offering, icontrol, in Delhi and Mumbai that claims to revolutionise TV viewing. icontrol is touted as India’s first IPTV service requiring no broadband, computer or DVD player. Aksh is investing close to $37 million in its services business on IPTV and VOIP platforms.

That is the problem with our Indian consumer service providers. They don't
understand the concept of customer service and customer satisfaction. They know
that there are plenty of us.. so if they don't satisfy one customer, they won't
loose anything..

It is ironical to say that i booked IPTV of MTNL in collaboration with AKS TV on
21/05/2009 which was installed by Mr kapil (9868337240) on 04/06/09 vide no. DL
00011339 (STB with MAC ID A00663FC). It was activated after a few days but with
fringing problem & waiting signal. The same was brought to the notice of Me
Kapil & Mr Praveen who could not rectify the problem. Later on complaint no
D/090615/55 was filed but AKS TV did not respond. Again second complaint was
filed vide D/090708007 dated 10/07/09 but all in vain. A third complaint was
filed vide complained no D/090818/28 which was attended by Mr Kapil on 22/08/09
who changed the STB- A00E4F12 VIDE NO DL 00015264 but changing STB could not
check the fringing, which Mr Kapil assured to remove from exchange, which was
not done. In the mean time Mr Manoj was contacted who asked to file the complain
and assured to get rid off the problem. The fourth complaint was filed vide no
/09017/20 dated 17/09/09 through Ms Santosh, who assured solution within 24
hours, which was attended one day after by Mr. Amit, who went without solution
of the problem. A reminder no 15621 dated 22/09/09 9.00AM as mentioned by Ms
Jyoti was filed, in response to that Mr Vinod came on 23/09/09, who could not
remove the problem in the lack of coordination with attendants in the exchange.
On 24/09/09 1.00 PM, Ms Jyoti Bhatia gave line to Ms Archana Arora who gave the
complaint no reminder 15788 dated 24/09/09 and promised to rectify but it is
unfortunate that till date the problem is as it was at the time of
installation.
Now it is mentioned that believing & feeling good reputation of MTNL, I opted
for IPTV but AKS TV has not only ruined the reputation of MTNL, it could not
prove it self a good service provider. Being a sincere customer, I always
deposited the bills well in time believing AKSTV will give proper service but
they proved me wrong. Now I request you to disconnect the service immediately
and refund all the bills which I have paid for nothing.
