You might think that how is it possible? Is there any store that gives you a mobile phone to try it out? Or a cell phone company that is offering free trial for their new cell phone model? No you are wrong. You can now try a cell phone online. Huh!!? How's that possible?

Yes, recently launched website is providing users a feature to try a cell phone before they buy it. Its basically giving you an interface where you can actually interactively try your new cell phone before you actually go and buy it. Buying a cell phone can be overwhelming as you can find hundreds of mobile phone in the market and all you can see is their descriptions and technical details. Ofcourse you can go to the shop and play around with those handsets but for that you still have to physically go to the store and ask the sales person to try it out.

TryPhone.com, recently launched website (still in Beta) has provided a unique feature where users like me and you can try different cell phones functionality in an interactive way. You can see the cell phone's menus, contacts, try the wallpapers, see the keypads, play around with different features etc.

Its basically fully interactive online virtual handsets to test-drive mobile devices, applications, content and services, as well as watch demos - right from the comfort and convenience of your own computer. Currently the site features Apple iPhone, LG Muziq, BlackBerry Pearl and Samsung Juke. You can suggest them to add more mobile handsets for such trials. I tried the Apple iPhone and it looks awesome.

These guys have done a great job in providing such an interactivity to the virtual mobile handsets. It also gives you tips for a given mobile handset for its unique features and howtos along with technical specifications and demo of the phone.

I would still like one more feature to be added to this functionality and that would be voice. If they add voice feature to this virtual phones, it would be really useful.

  Tryphone is okay :sigh , but check out GSMLive.ro phone simulators here:

  the actual phone (there are also Nokias, SonyEricssons, LGs etc), you can scroll
  it like the real iPhone, you can search its content!
