Facebook has become an integral part of current generation. Whether its a corporate fan club or your personal facebook page, facebook is like having your own email account. Just like email accounts, now facebook also gets spammy messages and spam friend requests.

The good thing is that now you can use WebSense's Defensio tool to protect your Facebook account from spammers, profanity, malware and malicious content and those “Ex-Girlfriend” worms.

Websense Defensio 2.0 has launched Facebook security suite. Its a facebook application that you can install in your facebook account and it does the rest.

Once Defensio for Facebook is installed, it will constantly monitor your page for possibly unwanted content. If it finds something suspicious, it will alert you. This Facebook application works with any kinds of pages, including personal and corporate profiles, group pages and fan pages.

To install Defensio for Facebook, simply create an account at http://defensio.com/signup. If you already have a Defensio account, log in, then in the control panel, click “My API keys”, then “Protect another web property”.
