Shri Subodh Kant Sahai, Union Minister for Food Processing Industries inaugurated an e-portal to bring farmers, suppliers and customers together on Wednesday.

The portal, called www.efreshindia.com has been designed by a private company and aims to empower Indian agriculture, said an official release.

Based on a food chain concept, it creates connectivity between the suppliers and the buyers through a trading platform.
