This association is helping the farmkers in several ways:
1.Providing necessary market report enabling effective price discovery for farmers to sell their product.
2. Low cost testing facility of their produce.
3. Historically, this association has been providing enormous service to farmers and has been serving as a link between farmer(on one side) and trade, industry, Govt (on other side).
4. Many of the reformation by State Govts - especially Tamilnadu Govt, was done with the involvement of SICA.
5. Last but not the least, deserving farmers are provided membership free of cost.
