While Google (Gmail) has introduced an extra storage for a price, Microsoft Hotmail announces to give its users upto 5GB of storage space for their email messages.
Just last week, Google announced that they will provide extra storage to their users with the price of $20/year for 6GB and so on, Microsoft will let users enjoy upto 5GB for free.
So if you look from storage perspective, Hotmail will leapfrog Google's nearly 3GB. As you might know, Yahoo Mail and AOL email services already include unlimited free storage.
Indian email service providers, ZapakMail, RediffMail and IndiaTimes mail already provides unlimited email storage.
