Reliance Communications (RCOM) today launched its new push Email service to its GSM and CDMA subscribers across the nation.
The new push Email service is similar to “Blackberry-Like” for the mobile phones. For this service the Reliance Communications have joined hands with a leading Canadian Push Mail Client Iseemedia. The GSM and CDMA subscribers can use this service at a monthly service charge of Rs.30 with a tariff of 50 paisa per SMS received from the subscribers.
“iSeeMail” is the new Push Mail solution offered by the Iseemedia. This new service is available for all mobile phone models which include base level and entry level handsets. The push mail service makes these phones to look similar to smart phones which allow the user to check, download and receive email messages.
“iSeeMail” runs all platforms of email systems through POP3,IMAP4, EAS and WebDav protocol. So they have access to Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Domino, Gmail, Yahoo! Mail, AOL, Hotmail and others.
With this new service the company is expected to see a revenue growth over the years to come.
