The chief minister of Gujarat, Narendra Modi recently came back from his abroad visit and after the days of coming back from the visit, Narendra Modi was not feeling well.
After the preliminary diagnosis, he was tested positive for the A(H1N1) virus‘.
All facilities for isolation and medical treatment (have) been arranged at the official residence of the chief minister,’ the statement said, adding that Modi was responding to treatment.
The entire Gujarat govt cabinet ministers are also being tested for the disease as all the ministers were with Mr. Modi in a 3 hour cabinet meeting yesterday after his blood was tested positive.
One minister said:
He should not have taken the meeting if he was being suspected of having swine flu. He could have waited for the results of the test.
Swine flu has claimed more than 450 lives in India since the first death was reported on August 3.
