If you have been travelling a lot in India, you know how it feels when you are lost and don't know the way out. Well we always have roadside panwala to ask for the directions but what if you don't find one nearby? SatNav launched a new service in India called SatGuide LCU(Lost? Need Directions? Call Us!)
People could either call a dedicated number (which can be accessed by buying a voucher of Rs 100) or use exclusive numbers offered by their telecom service providers to get answers.
The service – available from 6.30 a.m. to 11.30 p.m., covers over 200 cities and towns and 15 lakh destinations. The database also includes destinations such as hospitals, ATMs, hotels, cinemas and banks.
“People can get turn-by-turn directions with landmarks and distances. We will provide them with the shortest and most easily navigable routes anywhere in the country,” Mr Amit Prasad, Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of SatNav Technologies, said.
