The movie "Slumdog Millionair" is in the news ever since it was released worldwide. Though it was not released in India until last friday. The movie bagged Golden Globe awards and now is nominated for 10 Oscar Awards.
MySpace India launched a program called Black Curtain Screenings where myspace user had to add "Black Curtain" as a friend, include Black Curtain India Screening profile in your top friends list and then had to take a print out of their profile page to the Fame Big Cinemas in Andheri West.
Those users with the print out in your hands could watch Slumdog Millionair movie in Mumbai for free. Looks like that approach didn't fly that well. MySpace India's Slumdog Millionair Black Curtain has only 766 friends and I am not sure how many of them were able to watch the movie for free.
Myspace has four more Black Curtain events in India for Night at the Museum, X-Men Origins, Ice Age Dawn at the Dinosaurs and Valkyrie.
