Ever wanted to brag your friends saying "I know what you are doing... I can see you" ? Well now you can. Google has just introduced a new feature for its Google Maps Application where you can track down your friends** right from your mobile phone. The application is called Google Latitude.

**Once you've opted in to Latitude, you can see the approximate location of your friends and loved ones who have decided to share their location with you.

If you have a mobile smartphone, visit google.com/latitude on your phone's web browser to download the latest version of Google Maps for mobile with Latitude. Latitude is available on Blackberry, S60, and Windows Mobile, and will be available on Android and iPhone very soon.

Google Latitude is available in 27 countries and yes, India is in the list. So if you are in India, you can download Google Maps on your mobile phone and join the Latitude so that you can track your friends and family from within your mobile phone.

It is a cool application. If your mobile phone doesn't have in built GPS, you can manually set your location in Google Latitude so that your friends can see where you are.

Few requirements though.

Your mobile phone and your friend/relatives mobile phones should have GPRS enabled.

Your friends/relatives should  share their location with you and vice versa.

  Bhramar, it is also available for Windows Mobile phones. All you need is a
  mobile phone with GPS capabilities and you can track your friends on your
  mobile..
