
Just noticed this today. When you zoom in all the way in at the intersections the street numbers are placed and shows the side of the street that is odd or even.
Google has included tremendouse features into its maps. Last year Google maps included major highway exit numbers, street views and now street numbers. It is an improvement. USA has one nice thing about giving numbers to the streets. On one side it is always odd number and the other side of the street it is always even numbers.
So now when going to a new location, it is easier for someone to figure out what side of the street is even and what side of the street is odd. By looking at the number, you can now locate the address you are looking for easily with Google Maps street numbers. Some times the marker is not clear when you do a look up and then want to look at the correct address.
I don't think the Street numbers are available for Google maps in other countries. This to me looks like only for USA Google Maps.
