There is some interesting story cooking up for the last couple of days. There are some rumors going around that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is going to act in USA television series called "Heroes" which drew 14.3 million viewers overall and received the highest rating for any NBC drama premiere in five years.

The show tells the story of several people who "thought they were like everyone else until they woke with incredible abilities" such as telepathy, time travel and flight.

One of the character in the series is Mohinder Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy), a professor of genetics from India who travels to New York to investigate the death of his father, Chandra. Through his investigations, he comes into contact with people his father listed as possessing superhuman abilities.

According to the rumor Ash will play the role of Dr. Mohinder Suresh's elder sister Shanti Suresh (who died according to the story so far), and will have a super-power of her own, something which has not yet been disclosed.

One of the bollywood/hollywood gossip site entertainment.oneindia.com has posted this rumor on their website. But the funny thing is, the story doesn't provide any source for this story. According to the article, this news was posted on Heroes-tv.com. After doing google domain search, I was able to see a result with that story title but when I clicked on the link, I got this message "Sorry, the selected story does not exist. If the page does not automatically reload, please click here"

So basically news story has been removed from the News section of that site as the initial source was suspicious and no other sources are reporting the same. Now if you visit that website www.heroes-tv.com, there is an option to submit your own news. What I believe is that some Aish fan might have created its own story and posted it on their website and it got published. And when TV series team actually realised that, they deleted the story.

Isn't that interesting ? You can join the forum on Heroe-tv.com to find out an interesting discussion about this story.
