Palm Pre is just few hours away and everyone is excited about the phone. Since the Pre's own native app store is so thin and might take few months to get loads of Palm Pre Native applications, Palm Pre lovers should have some ways to import the good old Palm OS applications into Palm Pre.

Its been more than two years I have heard about YouMail, a visual voice mail service provider for USA telecom operatos like AT&T, Verizon, T-mobile etc. I am with Sprint and even though I wanted to try it, I couldn't because Sprint charges 20 cents/min for the call forwarding (For YouMail, you have to forward you have to forward your voicemail to YouMail number).

Just today I received an email from YouMail regarding the Sprint policy update that removed those pesky per minute call forwarding charges. Sprint not only has removed those charges but also removed the requirement of technical assistance for enabling call forwarding.

So after receiving the email from YouMail, I asked them when are you going to launch Visual Voicemail for Palm Pre?

Belive it or not, Palm Pre is the only mobile phone currently in the market that can compete with iPhone. There are so many reasons to like Palm Pre and people wrote books on Palm Pre vs iPhone. But now there is one more reason to buy Palm Pre..... it is now $100 cheaper than what it was before when Palm Pre launched.

Sprint has reduced the prices of Palm Pre from $199 to $149 but now you can buy Palm Pre for only $99.
