Finally, Google Docs launched the support for Office 2007. Google docs have added .docx and .xlsx to the list of file formats that we accept for uploading documents (which already included .doc, .odt, xls, .ods, .ppt, .csv, .html, .txt, .rtf, and others).
To import a .docx or .xlsx file, simply click the "Upload" button in your Docs List menu, select your file and Google Docs will upload and convert your document for use in Google Docs.
The same support is provided to Google Documents APIs as well.
