I have been hearing about this new VoIP service from Sevenrings International and they have been advertising as if they are providing free international calls but that is not true. It is nothing but a skype-like or Voxox-like service.
The service is called OurFreePhone.com. Basically you will have to download the software from their website. Once you download the software, you can register with OurFreePhone and the company is planning to charge $9.99 (Rs.500) per month irrespective of the calls and messages made.
So what is the free call deal? It is basically free if the person you are calling is also using OurFreePhone service. If you want to call someone who is NOT using OurFreePhone services then you will have to pay money. Now does it sound familiar? Yes, it is the same as Skype or Set Up Free VoIP Phone With. So why would someone use a fairly new service if they can use a very well known and robust system and that too without paying any monthly flat fees?
If you are talking about free international calls, there are plenty of Make Free International Calls worldwide. You don't even have to download any software, Now Make Free SIP Calls With Gizmo From Browser
So why to use OurFreePhone.com? I don't see any appealing reason why I should switch to OurFreePhone.com unless I am missing something..
